Getting Rid of Itchy Breast
Women who experience itchy breast can actually do small interventions to help alleviate the itchiness that they are feeling. The first easy thing that they can do is to wear a comfortable bra that is not too tight to the chest area. Wearing underwear that is too tight to the skin can cause itchiness and redness. It would also help if you change your bra regularly and wash them after every use to kill germs, bacteria, and fungi.
Another tip to get rid of itchy breast is to use mild soaps when washing the chest area. Since the breasts can be stretched out during pregnancy or breastfeeding, harsh soaps can cause the skin to get irritated and can trigger the itching sensation. Mild soaps or hypoallergenic washes will be extremely helpful. Soft rubs with a use of a sponge will also be advised over harsh rubbing around the area.
Make sure you wipe your breasts with a towel after every bath. Wearing a bra over moist skin in the breasts can cause bacteria to flourish quicker and can cause itchiness. When washing undergarments like your bra, you should also use a mild antibacterial detergent and soak the pieces in warm water for a few minutes.
