Common Meanings of Itchy Breast

Because of new findings that relate itching of the breasts to the inflammatory kind of breast cancer, many women who experiences itchy breast get paranoid in thinking that they might have cancer. But you should not worry too much because the most common causes of itching in the breast region are usually caused by external forces and not because there are abnormal cells in your body.

A common meaning of itching in the breast is that you may be using the wrong soap or cleanser for your skin. Strong soaps can contain harmful chemicals which could easily dry out your skin. Once the skin loses its hydration, it can become flaky and can cause itchiness. Strong soaps can also cause rashes around the nipples which are among the most sensitive parts of the breasts.
